PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Village of Freeburg employed our firm to prepare
preliminary and final plans, specifications, and estimates for reconstruction of
1,070 L.F. of Kessler Road. The project included the horizontal and vertical
realignment of the roadway, storm sewer, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt
pavement, retaining walls, driveway entrances and utility relocation. The urban
roadway project was funded with General Revenue Funds and Motor Fuel Tax (MFT)
and subject to review and approval by the Illinois Department of
Transportation. Our firm was also retained to perform the construction services
including construction staking, materials testing, construction observation and
contract administration.
