PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Monroe County Highway Department employed our
firm to prepare preliminary and final plans, specifications, and estimates for
the improvement of 1.3 miles of rural roadway. The project involved 0.7 miles of
relocated roadway on new alignment and 0.6 miles of realignment and widening of
an existing roadway. The construction scope included drainage structures,
grading and paving. Geometric design included horizontal reverse curves,
superelevation transitions and rural intersections. Our services included route
and land surveys and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates and
right-of-way documents.
