PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Washington County employed our firm to prepare
preliminary and final plans, specifications, and estimates for the construction
of a Nature Preserve. The project was funded by an OSLAD grant and consists of
a nature park with various species of flora and fauna. The project included
approximately 2,500 feet of walking trail, a pavilion, pit privy, concrete
handicap parking, sidewalk, barbeque grills, picnic tables, benches, kiosks,
refuse receptacles, drinking fountain, electrical and water service, and
aggregate access road and parking area. Our firm was also retained to perform
full construction services including staking, construction observation,
materials testing and construction contract administration.
